DSNurse - urgent update and action needed re Gulf War Vet advisory committee sept24-25 DC

August 14,2008

To All

I have settle on the hotel we will use it is the Harrington Hotel in DC at 11 and e street which is the closest and most affordable to the meeting site of the Hamilton Crown Plaza

The phone number is 1-888-424-8532 re speak with Judy and make your reservation NOW reference gulf war veterans ill DC event. You can also call 1-202-628-8140 and talk with Susan or Barbara.

I could not block rooms without a formal contract and paying total bill 2 weeks prior! They have double rooms re two beds so two people can share but they are in limited supply. I told you before SEPT is one of the busiest in DC!

The cost is 135. with tax is total 154.58. (That is about 72. a night each which is a good rate inside DC!!!!!). Parking car is extra of course. But this location will be the best for us and getting everyone to meeting and back in timely manner with all helping!

I am doing the best I can to be sure we all have rooms at an affordable and close in hotel to the meeting site for Sept 24-25.

I am trying to make further plans re getting a contract but I am worried about all of us being bedded down in same hotel. SO for now I need you to call and get a room re double that you will share with one of the others..........so team up in twos and make your room reservation. You will need a credit card to reserve the room.

I am still working to get donations to at least hopefully cover at least the hotel room cost to help you all. Will try to get that and more.

But again go to your local organization posts and ask them to help and commit to each of you to help you to do this!

EMail me at DSNurse1@yahoo.com comments or whatever.

Plus I still need more veterans to commit to making this meeting on Sept 24-25 VA Gulf WAR VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHICH IS THE PRIORITY !
